The Noble Art is another name for the sport of boxing, in particular the English style who's rules were first set out in 1867 by the Marquess of Queensberry. Some of the greatest writers and artists of the last 100 years were boxers or fans of the fight – from TS Eliot and Ernest Hemingway to Joyce Carol Oates and Picasso. And there have been more films made about boxing than any other sport.
Some say that the Noble Art sits right at the heart of our cultural life, and the square ring was where generations of writers, filmmakers and artists went to find out what was inside them – and us all.
Noble Arts Enterprises is a creative platform founded by Chris Jones as a way to fight for great ideas, help brands punch above their weight and to explore how we can all think more creatively about our careers or even our lives.
For over 30 years, Chris has been developing creative campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands such as Nike, Land Rover, Philips, VW, McDonald’s and Unilever. In London, Paris, Shanghai, Sydney, Amsterdam and Hong Kong, he led multi-cultural creative teams at agencies such as DDB, Ogilvy, Havas and Wunderman to deliver ground-breaking and award winning integrated projects. He has also judged at many of the industry's award festivals. As well as speaking about the power of digital at events across Asia, Chris has also just published his first book – The UX of ME: Optimize your Career through Design Thinking. He also speaks fluent French thanks to his wonderful Parisian wife Veronique.
